here for a start on the 6.5 thread page.
looking for the next build barrel, a .260 Rem AR-10 Barrel, in 416 stainless set up for the following bullets 139 to 146 gr.
Lapua 139 Scenar
Lapua 136 Scenar L
Sierra 140 SMK
Sierra 142 SMK Berger 140 Hybrids
Berger 140 VLD's
which chamber reamer for a 5R barrel, and yes it has to go through a conventional AR-10 mag. Previous non 5R barrels seem to work best with less than .1" jump, but with the contact area of the 5R I am thinking .06. . Also, whose Chamber reamer will work best for these average weight bullets. . I am guessing the standard TO chamber is cut with a PTG?? IS there a choice?
Thanks in advance

They use PT&G reamers exclusively.
I have not shot a TO 260 so don't know the jump. Over the last year we have found various 6.5 bores and chamberings have done extremely well with a great deal of jump far in excess to the common wisdom of up close to the lands.

I guess I consider a lot of jump for any barrel at .035 or greater, I dont have a lot of options with a standard length mag, and with the longer bullets I expect less jump. so looking to find either the ability to specify a depth or identify which PTG was in use, before the next bullet order..
Thanks in advance.
