Does the barrel come with a barrel but to attach to the upper or do I have to buy a separate one?

Barrel nuts are not furnished with AR tubes. Modt guys go free float or after market forends and those usually come with their own proprietary nuts.

Greg; This process of putting a new barrel into an existing action is a lot like medicine.
you can't just go out and buy a barrel and screw it into the old action that you may have.
It is a lot like medicine, to get a new kidney? You first have to find one, then you go thru a period of tests to make sure it is the right one, then make sure the blood type (powder) is the right kind and then the rest of the story, match this and that, just to make sure you have the right parts and find a DOCTOR (Gunsmith) to put all together and just hope it all fits just right...
If you fail in any one of the steps? You have wasted a lot of time and money. If you find the right Doctor (Gunsmith) as I have. Then you do this special little DANCE because He won't even talk to you??
That is the problem that I have. My Doctor will not answer my calls, I can't even find out his phone number. As far as you can find out. He doesn't even live in the same part of town as his work office (shop).
Then you find out there is a $2 or 300$ difference in the price of the procedure but remember HE will NOT communicate with you to find out the answers that you need to make a correct decision.

Well said. With age any experience all things become easier.

How much does the 450 Bushmaster 7.5" Barrel weigh in a lightweight configuration? Contact Tactical Ammunition direct on that one. I would call them rather than email. Greg
